A Trip Into History (Circa 1735) (Garden City News)
Mrs. Lupo's second grade class took a trip into history when they visited the Sands-Willets House in Pt. Washington. The children baked corn bread and apple pie, played games and practiced their letters, all by using the methods and traditions of the 1700s. They dressed up and listened to music from the same period. Everyone had a great time while learning about local history.
